Zero hunger is one of the highest priorities of the international community. Currently, around 690 million people around the world are suffering from chronic hunger. By 2050, it is expected that there will be another 2 billion people added to this number.
In partnership with the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and other Rome-based agencies, we are developing a model which includes over 3 million observations of stunting pulled from the USAID DHS and other micro-data sets providing the most accurate and granular hunger estimates to date. Projections will run until 2030, the end of the Sustainable Development Goal period.
